Account Registration & Security

To use the Service, you must create an account using one of the following methods:

• Magic Link: Enter your email address and receive a secure sign-in link (valid for 10 minutes). No password is required.
• Google OAuth: Sign in using your existing Google account.

Email Verification

Upon registration, you will receive an email verification link. Email verification is required to fully use the Service, including sending invoices.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your email account, as it is the sole means of authentication
• Ensuring the accuracy of the information you provide
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account

Subscription Plans & Billing

Free Tier

The Free tier is available at no cost and includes:

• Up to 3 invoices sent per calendar month (billing period resets monthly)
• Access to all templates, color palettes, and font pairings
• A mandatory watermark ("Created with [PLACEHOLDER_APP_NAME]") on all invoices, which cannot be removed on the Free tier
• Invoice creation, PDF generation, and email delivery

Paid Tier

The Paid tier removes usage limits and unlocks premium features:

• Monthly Plan: $10.00 USD per month — unlimited invoices, no mandatory watermark
• Annual Plan: $100.00 USD per year — unlimited invoices, no mandatory watermark ($20 annual savings compared to monthly billing)

Paid users may optionally toggle the watermark on or off.

Free Tier Limitations

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not collect, store, or process payment card data. When you subscribe, you will be redirected to Stripe's secure checkout to complete payment.

Billing Cycle

• Monthly subscriptions are billed at the start of each monthly period.
• Annual subscriptions are billed at the start of each annual period.
• Usage counters (invoices sent) reset at the start of each billing period.

Subscription Management

You can manage your subscription (upgrade, downgrade, or cancel) through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your account settings. Changes take effect according to Stripe's billing schedule.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• You retain access to Paid features until the end of your current billing period
• Your account reverts to the Free tier at the end of the billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will apply to your next billing cycle after the notice period.

Acceptable Use

Permitted Use

The Service is provided for the creation and delivery of invoices for legitimate business purposes. You may use the Service to:

• Create, edit, preview, and send invoices to your clients
• Manage company profiles and client records
• Generate and store PDF invoices
• Track invoice status and payment history

Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create fraudulent, misleading, or fictitious invoices
• Send invoices for illegal goods, services, or activities
• Harass, spam, or send unsolicited communications to third parties
• Attempt to circumvent subscription limits or usage restrictions
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure or other users' access
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create using the Service, including invoice data, client information, company information, and any custom notes or descriptions. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

Our Platform

We retain all rights to the Service, including the platform, software, templates, design system, color palettes, font pairings, and all associated intellectual property. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

User Content & Data Ownership

All data you enter into the Service (invoices, client records, company profiles, notes) remains your property. We process this data solely to provide the Service. You may export or delete your data at any time (see our Privacy Policy for details on data portability and erasure).

Privacy
